Summary: Considering the Budget Price (100 to 140 range during high season), Lumberman's was an OK Choice. The Check-in was kind of annoying. You fill out an on-line form that doesn't say that you have to then walk around the property to get your key at the Restaurant, where you have more paperwork. The room was clean and as advertised with a GREAT BIG Screen TV. But the King Bed was lumpy and sagging left, right and center! Not good. The chairs and dinette and the cramped outdoor seating in front of the room, was just OK. The basic kitchen worked except for the coffee maker. The Shower Flow was outstanding...a real back pounding after a long day outside. Nice. The Restaurant on property has LOUD Rockin' music and screaming kids....but it all quieted down to nothing by nine pm. No problem. Friendly Staff was a plus. The Big Fish Plate I had was very good, as were the beer and liquor prices. The 'New School Backyard Brew Pub Scene', with the cornhole, firepits, grassy expanse and tall trees all around was great. So overall, if comfort is your thing, I would look elsewhere. But if you want an affordable and central Lake/Pine location where you can walk to the bar this may be just the thing.
